Filled R in trust, 1970s lg cent, 1988d dbl mint mark?

    Here are a few coins I would like opinions on. 1) I haven't been able to find any information on the 1960 filled R in trust. Wish I could get a better pic. 2)I cannot tell if the 1970s is large date or small date. (any easy way to tell?). Thanks

    The 70s is a large date.

    The top of the 7 is below the level of the top of the 9, it's a large date.

    If it's even, it's a small date.

    The other way to tell is the loop of the 9. If it curls around and points toward the 7, it's a small date. If it curls down pointing towards the mint mark, it's a large date.

    sure does ! had a ruler and got so crossed eyed that I couldn't see. Thanks for the extra info on the nine in relation to the curl
