I'm too new at this but I'm pretty sure both of these are both PMD. Pics aren't the greatest as I haven't obtained a tripod yet and will get a better camera in the near future (either my Kodak sucks or I do). The first one I couldn't tell the last digit on the date until I actually took the pic....2006. The second dime has gouges on both sides. Thanks for helping the newbiest of all newbies.

The first is either struck through grease or a deteriorated die. The second is PMD done with scissors or snips.

I think number one might be a dryer coin, can we see complete pictures of each side?

I bought a tripod today....will get better pics and upload asap! The backside doesn't have anything wrong with it though. It was just the front. But I will take pics for you to look at and take it straight on and get it clear as possible. Thanks y'all!

Here are some more pics of the first coin. Going to post again with a few more also. I apologize for it taking so long. Downloaded Kodak Easyshare and computer went crazy!

The last one when zoomed in I saw some letters between "One" and "Dime". I enlarged the 3rd one for the "JS" all messed up. Is that doubling at the base of the neck or the entire coin PMD.....either way.....interesting to look at.

    :welcome:Welcome to Cointalk!!!!

The dime looks like it was struck with worn dies+little post mint damage too.
