I'll thank my dad because he has been my mentor in not just coin collecting but in life. He has been through a lot but even when he was laying in a hospital bed after having a heart attack he managed to smile for me. So thanks Dad, for everything.
I want to thank my Grandfather who taught me how to play poker as a kid and let me keep all his "old" change. Then a few months ago, going thru my old box of poker winnings I become interested in coin collecting. Thanks!
Elbesaar has been a real mentor for the past few years, along with a few others, that don't visit this forum. The amount of passion these guys have for the series I collect and the willingness they have to share. Really makes you feel like you belong sometimes.
I would like to say thanks to thecointrader for providing me with some awesome coins from his last contest. I would also like to thank my friend George for taking the time to take me to coin shows and buying a few coins for me.
There are a few people who I would like to thank. But for everyone on this forum that has taken their time to read my posts, look past my ignorance on new subjects, and respond my posts, THANK YOU! I enjoy checking up on this forum daily as well as weekly postings and look forward to achieving new relationships with fellow enthusiasts!!!

Thanks to Kasia, Lucy and Charmy for reminding me that this ain't a 'good ol' boy' hobby. Thanks to 'wiggy' for the NCAA basketball contest. Dang, the list is endless and I could go on and on. I want to thank everyone on cointalk for helping me learn more about my coins. Im only 15 years old and coins amaze me every day. Whenever I had a question about any coin that i owned, i turned to cointalk for the answers. I would also like to thank all the generous people who hold the contests, I think that they are so much fun and I always want to take part in them even if I may not be the one who wins the prize in the end. Thank you for holding this contest!!! -Kyle
First of all, I would like to thank my wonderful family for everything, including always being there when I'm down and helping me to cheer up. I love my family so much! I would also like to thank everyone on Cointalk for helping me out when I didn't understand some problems and creating awesome contests like this one. Thank you, Peter T Davis for making this great website. I've made new friends, which is awesome. Thank you JCB1983 for this contest and good luck everyone!
First off, i would like to thank my great grandfather, who left me his collection of lincoln cents when i was a little kid. my love for collecting coins spawned from a single whitmann folder and grew to a highly addictive and enjoyable hobby. Next I would like to thank everyone here on CT for all of the knowledge they have shared and the help they have given me. I know youre looking at my join date and its was only a couple of weeks ago, but I have been reading on this forum for a couple of years now. You guys have helped me in so many ways. The only way that I could ever repay you guys is to in turn share the knowledge that i have gained with others. Now i would like to thank Mikesolo66......For sending me my first friend request on CT! Last but not least. Lets all thank JCB1983 for this awesome contest
Thanks to all the people who host contests,Thanks to the coin shop person who gives me deals on coins and extra wheats when I buy a roll, And thanks to my mom and dad who bring me to coin shops and my mom who gave me some coins.
Thank you US veterans, allied forces of other countries, reserves and active military for putting your lives on the line to preserve our freedom and protect our countries. So much sacrifice has been made, I appreciate it and am grateful to live free because others have paid the price.
I would like to thank my dad, he encourages me with my hobbies, he helps and advises me where he can.He likes looking at what I buy (especially the very old ones like 1600-1800) and even has a very, very small collection of his own some (crowns and threepences) He takes me to the "car boot sale" where I buy my coins, he bails me out sometimes when I need it :rollling:. Though he can`t help me with my schoolwork, he provides for me and looks after my mom (his wife) and the house. He has gone through many hard times in his life like difficult low pay jobs (pig farming, factory work), he got TB at a young age and lost movement at one of his knees and got metal inserted to keep his leg straight, but he has never let this get in his way! He is a DIY man an expert at everything in the house and around it, he tought himself and watched other men do these things and learned from them. He is a happy man, always knows what he`s doing and enjoys life all the time I would also thank the cointalk community as a whole, I know if I mention individual names I will probably forget someone. I always love browsing threads, viewing your excellent coins and photos!! Thanks JCB1983! -Owen
Just as the NickelGuy, I would like to thank all of those who served our country and fighted in our time of need. I'd also like to thank AMC for hosting a show as great as Breaking Bad. Best.Current.Show.Ever!
Id like to say thanks to CamaroDMD - FOr answering all my silly medical/dental questions Cpm9ball, Green18, Doug, cole for answering all my numismatic questions
Thank you for forum's American point of view - I have learned a lot of American collecting culture and numismatics. Things like your grading system, slabs, low ball collecting, toned coins, hoarding of copper pennies etc have been new and weird things for me before your great threads.
