I'm actually quite good with Crane machines won this and a 2009p and an Ike dollar for 1.50 but that doesn't include the hundreds of quarters I have fed Crane machines as a kid :p

Two new horse medals -- Swiss, not USA -- but cool all the same.

You and your son made some excellent choices! Especially the gold coin. You son has a good eye for quality!

    I received P & D 2005 California state quarters from Chris "cpm9ball"

my first slabbed coins and my first state quarters .. now I understand why you guys need loops, too many tiny details  ..

I have a question, as per ngc price guide the "P" is worth 18.75$, the "D" is worth 12.50$, both are in the same grade, almost the same mintage, and the "P" has more in this grade "MS67", I know that it is just a guide but I think it should be based on some facts ..

Price guides are just that, guides. They have no bearing on reality. For the record, NGC does not maintain a "price guide" in the sense that PCGS does. What I assume you are referring to is the Numismedia price guide, which is the listing of prices provided and linked to on the NGC website.

The last two NGC graded MS67 to sell on eBay went for $4.76 + $4SH for the "P" and $3.58 + $4SH for the "D".

I went on a buying binge on eBay recently. I picked up several Mexican Pesos from 1920-1945, a couple of the 1968 Olympic 25 Pesos, a 2012 Libertad, and a 1982 Libertad. Also, thanks to gbrokes picture in the Coin Photography Contest, I bought a couple German Empire 3 Marks. One from Hamburg, which is my new favorite coin, and one from Wuerttemberg. I don't know if anybody on here was bidding on any of the many German marks that aspencoins had on ebay recently, but there was a Hamburg 5 Mark that was spectacular, that went for $110, just out of my price range unfortunately. All of these are seller pictures.

This was the German 5 Mark that I missed. Sorry to anyone if they were going to post this here as their newest acquisition. If it was, I'll delete this post. Can't be worse than Rev posting pictures of a coin that hasn't even ended yet. LOL JK
