I see this happening often here, newbies make mistakes, but I can help! :thumb: PLEASE POST A PHOTO OF YOUR COIN YOU CONSIDER AN ERROR. We cannot help you unless we see a clear, up-close photo of the coin. Your going to get a very limited response from members, or no response at all, if you do not post a photo.
I appreciate what you're trying to do, but in the end it just turns into a useless rant...if someone is too lazy to do something that obvious, they're going to be too lazy to read your post, or do a Google search, or go to a coin shop. Just take a deep breath, brother...
Anyone here watch a show called "The IT Crowd?" This reminds me of how they (IT support guys) answer the phone: "Hello, IT, have you tried turning it off and then back on again?"
You'll have to "bump" this thread if you plan on successfully communicating your message. Or this thread, like 99% of the others, will just end up getting lost a week from now. Most newbies won't search the archives to find notifications like this. Valiant effort tho.
You're being too harsh. Everyone knows that error coins that bite people in the rear ALWAYS loudly announce themselves. Even deaf people can hear an error coin biting them in the rear.
If these threads always end up badly, then don't get into it so much (contributing to the ending up badly). That's knowledge we all (even me) should use wisely.
Ahhh, a breath of fresh air. My teachers always said that if they could positively influence just one person, their life would be a success. Well Detecto, your thread is a success.
It's funny that because Deteco has started this post, nothing yet has to do with his original post. Unfortunately nobody can take him seriously because of his past rants and such.
good thread here Detecto and I admire you for not letting things bother you. In my book you are ok and I don't see anything wrong with this thread , keep them coming for us to enjoy.
