Roll-searchers, post your results!

Hey all. I haven't posted in awhile. Still searching but my volume has been pretty low which has been frustrating. I only did 7 boxes each of halves (but only 2 were skunks) and dimes in June. So far in July I've done 3 boxes of each with similar results. Hopefully my volume will pick up a bit. I need to take a road trip soon and hit some new banks. I've only been going to my buy bank and the few TD Banks I dump at.

Over the weekend did a skunk box of halves and 2 boxes of nickels.

Inthe two nickel boxes we found a 42s and a 45p as well as a dateless buff. I had higher hopes after finding one in the third roll but no more until my wife found one in the last ten rolls of the second box.
Another box of halves this evening and I am hoping to keep a good month rolling.

found a nice 98 WAM at work. Nicest one I have found thus far. Got the 98 and 2000. yet to find a 99.

 

Today, I Called my bank here in town that I have the most luck with. I called up and they said they had 'A lot' of half dollars. I didn't bother to ask how much that was. The bank was right down the street, so I hopped in my car and ventured to the bank. Turns out it was only $37 in half dollars... I still took it graciously. On my way to the car, one of the rolls opened up. Three coins fell on to the ground. Sitting there on the ground was a 1988 proof. That got me excited! I sped home and quickly opened all three rolls and poured them onto the table. In that $37 of halves, I found 3 90%'s and 3 40%'s.

Picking up $100 worth of halves today. will post my findings later.

 

If they check them, they probably just weigh them.

i cant afford a whole box just yet.. had to dip into my roll search fund.

 

Yea... I fear once college starts up, I wont have the money to roll search nearly as much due to the lack on funds...

 

Just actually got a call from one of my banks. A bank in the area had $820 in half dollars. Just picked them up. Every single roll had a marking. Four different types of rollers. One however had written on them, "Ken's Copper + Nickel mix" I had $100 of halves labeled that. Found 13 40%'s in those rolls!!!!! The other $720 are bust but I am more the ok with that given my finds.

 

Box of dimes - was worried with almost solid roll after roll of 2012P's...but got a '54, and '50D.

my halves box has some tasty tidbits including yet another first for me - full results when I finish the whole box tomorrow!

 

well...somebody beat me to the $100 worth of halves. the teller that was holding them for me left early today. I did however pick up one 40%er from a teller tray and 3 more 40%ers at a gas station. YAY!

Picked up a box of dimes - solid 2012. I traded them in at a different bank for $250 in bwr - skunk.

 

Sorry about those halves.. But gratz on the 4 40%'s!

Hello everyone, been awhile since I went roll searching but I'm back at it now and I can't tell you how much I missed it!

Anyways last week box of halves gave 10 40%

Today box of halves skunk
$15 teller halves skunk
$500 BRW dimes skunk
Box of dimes skunk
Then $150 BWR halves got 1 40% and a 1950 Frankie!
Plus at one bank I got 60 ikes

So overall not to bad but I would have like to find a roosie.
