I've worked as assistant manager at Family Dollar for the last four months. One of my jobs is to count the cashier's drawer at the end of the shift. I found two Wheaties so far, but today I found a 1943 Mercury dime. Woo Hoo!!!
I found my first Buffalo Nickel in a circulated roll I picked up from the bank a few days ago. It is in poor condition (cannot even make out a date) but I was so excited. I have been searching for a few years now, but I am yet to find any silver in circulation. That's pretty cool that you found some. It gives me hope that there still may be some floating around for me to find!
Congratulations, pictures would be nice, but use it as a learning exercize rather than as a requirement.
Not trying to be smart but i thought you post a pic of a coin that you had questions about so others could see what it was you wanted to know. Why would saying you found a silver coin with no date be a reason to post a picture of it. It has very little value and he or she was just posting to say they found silver. Am i missing something?
