1857 Flying Eagle DDO

    Folks, sorry for the low quality pics - a little challenged today...

    I am curious if this is a legit DDO

    I am seeing it in the A in STATES and the beak...

    Looks like it might be a bit of Longacre doubling, a type of doubling which isn't "real" doubling. Eddie, that coin looks pretty similar to one featured in the latest CONECA Errorscope, and that doubling is much clearer than most!
