Here's an educational "Guess the Grade"...well, maybe not educational for your veteran collectors but for newbies like myself it should be a great learning experience. Guess the grade of this Barber slabbed in an NGC holder: Note: Consider all details seen on the coin, not the holder.
Since this is supposed to be educational, I'm going to post my probabilities for each grade. AU Details: 5% MS Details: 25% Proof Details: 25% Proof (61-64): 30% Proof (65-70): 10% AU55: 5% AU58: 15% MS60: 5% MS61: 5% MS62: 10% MS63: 20% MS64: 30% So, will go with a MS/PF 64, however the lines on the neck of Liberty may cause this to come back as MS Details (Is there a such thing as Proof Details???)
Looks like a proof to me. The hairlines probably held it to 63 maybe 64. I'll bet the coin has a much better look at an angle with a bit more light.
