1969 S penny letters look doubled could it be worth anything?

    That mint mark is the giveaway as those were added to the dies by hand back then. Keep swinging. ;)

    They were punched into the dies after the dies were hubbed. When they're also doubled like that that's just further evidence the planchet took a hop or a slide as it was struck and you're seeing that on the coin, strike doubling.
