Well I hope that's not a bag of wheat cents in the corner--you told me you were all out! PS: All kidding aside, those bags you got us three or so years ago were more than generous, Jason, and the kids still remember them. Best of luck to you!
Awesome! I got very excited when I read Bedford, know you were near PA before. But it turns out it is a different Bedford. Either way, congratulations on the new venture. Wish you the best of luck. Maybe I will send my want list your way here soon. Maybe new eyes can find me some nice coins I have been looking for. :thumb:
All the best for a very successful business. I can recall all to well the excitement I felt when I also opened my own Rare Coin & Stamp business in the wilds of upstate New York. Nothing like the location you have, but I had a great time with the almost daily customers coming and telling me how they just founds this piece or that piece in the dirt of the barn at the old McNally's farm. We'd sit and have a cup of joe and discuss the " whether " to. Whether or not I could Sell them a coin or stamp.
Smart-looking shop; congratulations! I thought PA, too, when I read the headline. Johnstown is my hometown.
Jason, As I'm sure you have a pretty good idea of... Now is when the exciting part begins! Congrats and good luck my friend. I have family in Monroe so you will probably see me some day.
Bedford is the Township name for the communities in SW MI. Around the Temperance , Lambertville areas, across the Ohio border from Toledo .
I know; I read your OP; was being nostalgic thinking of the Bedford near my hometown. Now that I live in Grand Rapids I've driven by Toledo many times between the East Coast and here.
Congrats Jason. I applaud you for being one of those who has the moxy, cojones, work ethic and vision to go out there and do it. Like the Dutchman said, now comes the fun part. You're living the American dream baby! Best of luck to you.
Congratulations! I just checked out the website. Once you get some more inventory loaded, I will send some business your way. Good luck! :smile TC
That's AWESOME! I wish you the best of luck in your new business. Now, you need to clutter up by acquiring more "stuff". I still remember the day I walked into my favorite shop and met the owner (on opening day), his shop looked a lot like yours does now. 5 years later and he has stuff EVERYWHERE. It was really cool to watch the transition and he appreciated my business and gave me good deals and first dibs on a lot of stuff that comes in. BEST OF LUCK!
Conrgats, opening up and running a store is not the easiest. Wish I was closer to Ohio but I'm not. When the website is up post it here so we can shop.
Agreed. Congrats on the store. I love the clean look. One question, it seems to me it would be unwise to post a very detailed photo of your business front door key (assuming thats what it is). I think some savy criminal could easily duplicate that key based on your photo on facebook. Maybe remove that photo?
LOL - I may deal coins but I'm not dumb I've changed every lock in that place & the other security, well I'm not saying any more
Congrats on the shop!!! Looks really nice and ready for business. Been a long time dream for me to go into business for myself. I hope you do well for yourself.
congrats!! toledo is a bit of a hike, but i may have to go up there and check it out. got any ancients in the store?
