value of wheat cent rolls?

I am getting ready for a yard sale and will be selling rolls of wheat cents.
Years ago I was selling rolls to a couple of dealers for $1.50 per roll.
A flea market dealer told me he buys rolls for $2.50 each.
Lastly, an elderly lady at the Brimfield, MA antique show told me she sells rolls for $4.00 each ["and I get it too."]
So what I have is just common circulated rolls from 1940 to 1958D not mixed but each roll contains the same date and mintmark. There are no S mint rolls and no 1943 steel cents. The majority are rolls of 1956D. They have been all checked for RPMs. They are good solid coins with no culls or junk.
    My question is twofold:
    1. If they were your coins, what would you sell them for per roll?
    2. If you were a buyer what would you pay per roll?
    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I'd sell them at $5.00 per roll and I'd buy them at $1.00 per roll. That means I'd transact with myself at $2.50 per roll. :)

Bear in mind I'm Canadian but I've been slowly unloading about 20,000 wheats dated from 1910 to 1957.

At local auctions, the rolls sell, on average for $3-$4 per roll but in some cases they've gone for more than $10 per roll (Why? I have no idea.)

When I was selling on ebay, they would go for up to $8 roll when they sold. At other times I couldn't get a single bid on them.

As a buyer, I would probably pay a good premium if they were early rolled cents (say found in a vault or something). Modern re-rolls, I would assume they were searched and I would only pay a dollar or two at the most. Generally, I try to get them for face value.

I'll Buy all you got at 1.00 even you have 20,000 rolls

Since they've already been checked for varieties, and they're common date wheaties, I wouldn't pay more than $2 for each roll. However, the fact that they're each rolled according to date/mm is a plus.
