is this a 2000 "wide AM" penny?

    I found this when looking through change and I think I may have found a wide AM error

    I would say yes if it was not the a and m would be touching you would be able to tell the difference.

    Certainly is!! Congrats!!

    As for value around $2-3, but I think that number will rise in the near future.

    :smile Hello.. yes that is an am penny. If you googl Ken Potter's varieties or just a Wide AM lincoln cent you will see pics. The 'wide' refers to the space between A and M.. they touch on the others. The most valuable of the three years.. 98-99-2000 is the 1999 'proof' or type II reverse. Have a good one Tony

    It is a WAM. Also look at the initials at the base of the monument they are closer to the monument on a WAM and further away on a CAM
