1895 morgan white metal

Is this coin a souvenir or just a piece of junk . it seems to be made from some sort of white metal ., and measures 77mm diameter, 4mm thick .and weights 52.9grm to show you the size difference

That's big. Looks like a coaster to me.

 

It does look like a coaster. I have an 1877 IHC coaster. Put a drink on it, see if it fits.

I have an odd sized IHC too, only mine is a lot smaller lol

 

I've got a buffalo nickel that size. They're pretty cool.

 

Geez, Iguess most are too young to know what a paperweight is. Back in the olden days ( cue the song "fly fly away") most of our communications came on paper, and with a pile on your desk, and also back then , the windows in commercial buildings were often open for ventilation, so you need something to hold the valuable papers down on your work space. The work space was what a clear area somewhere was known as, not a computer app.
