I went to the bank to get some rollsto go through over the weekend. Turns out the teller gave me 6 rolls of brand new 2011-D nickels. They are all pristine. Technically are they uncirculated? They were obviously sent out to be circulated, but never really got the chance. Also, should I keep them? They are 2011, nothing old. Thanks for any help.

If they are crimped more likely they have not been in circulation. I would hold onto them for the future so they would be BU.

I have been finding rolls like that. The ones I got came clear plastic. All of them 2012 Canadain nickels.

I would perhaps keep one roll with an obverse on one end and a reverse on the other, then go through the others and pick out the best 6 or 12. No need to hold up too much money with 'em.

In the U.S. the are crimped instead of in plastic. I have nickels like the plastic rolls. Two boxes.
