Box of halves, $20 nickels, skunk.

 

I thought about it, but I'm only going for 4 days and I know I'll get in big trouble if I try to CRH for the entire time, plus I don't want to get stuck with rolls that I can't get rid of in time. I'll probably pick up a few rolls here and there and search for halves, but I'm really hesitant to get too much.

On the plus side, my grandmother will probably let me have my grandfather's coin collection when I go down there. He's got about 3 or 4 rolls of silver washington quarters, plus a lot of other random stuff. Either way, it will be a great trip for my silver collection lol

 

A lady came into the bank i work at with a jar full of coins, she just wanted paper money for. As a teller i ask her if she had already gone through them to which she said yes. I got the following 3 coins for $1 each:

 

Yesterday:
$12 loose Ikes: Nothing
$40 CWR halves: Nothing
$27.50 loose halves: Three 40% and one well-worn Walker with no date!
$225 BWR dimes: Just a Barbados 10c.
$275 CWR dimes: One well-camouflaged silver Roosie, a tiny buffalo nickel replica, and... a Seated Liberty dime!!!! It's incredibly worn down and barely recognizable. I believe it's a 1875 S, based on the reverse design and location of the mintmark.

 

One box of dimes, one lonely '64 roosie. 1 per $250 so far this week, better than last! Still looking for my first, barber, seated, or.. you know... gold piece...

 

Can we get a pic of the SL? That's actually the same date as the one I got, just not with an S

$300 quarters: skunk, though there were two exra. I guess I can buy that 1957 T-Bird now.

I'll work on getting that pic soon. I'm not positive on the date or the mint. The thing is so worn down that I had to base it off the reverse design. It definitely has the "Wreath of Cereal" reverse, and it looks like there's a S mint mark just below "Dime." AFAIK the only year the mint mark was put there was 1875.

Three boxes of halves: The entire 1987 set! A San Francisco clad proof, two Phillies, and a Denver! Also got a few other clad proofs; 1990, 1992, 2000, and 2005. Also scored a 40% and another Walking Liberty! A 1935 S this time.

$75 BWR dimes: Nothing
$275 CWR dimes: Three silver Roosies, a Canadian, and a UK 5p.
