    I'm not advocating heating a 20 dollar bill in the microwave, but I am curious as to weather you believe a 20 dollar bill would burn or set on fire in the microwave.

  4. It depends. If it is a newer $20 that has the mylar security strip it can catch on fire and burn. If it is an old $20 it will not. I voted yes as we see mostly new $20 bills these days. :devil: TC

    How long of time? (not sure it makes a difference but maybe)

    My guess is no, paper towel doesn't start on fire.

    If anyone wants to try this i'll make them a deal. Mail me the 20 dollars, and i'll put a 1 dollar bill in the microwave. Almost same affect.
