I apologize for not posting the results of the Contest-Within-A-Contest sooner, but I was feeling under the weather last night. A family member was kind enough to upload the photographs I had waiting in queue, but I was unable to post a text response to the contest answers.

I haven't yet reviewed your answers, but here are the correct responses to the contest questions:

Question #1, Value 1 point if correct:

Not including the video clip or the photo titled 'Silver Dollar', how many total coins are shown in the pictures in the 'Carson City Mint' gallery?

Answer: 20. (I had hoped the head & tails coins might cross someone up, but no such luck).

Question #2, Value 1 point if correct:

Not including the video clip or the photo titled 'Silver Dollar', what is the total face value of the coins shown in the pictures in the 'Carson City Mint' gallery?

Answer: $56.50 (Same follow up as above).

Question #3, Value 1 point if correct within 1%:

What is the stated capacity (in ounces) of the Bullion Scale shown in the 'Carson City Mint' gallery?

Answer: As per the image titled 'Scales Info', the correct answer is '10,000 ounces'. Also correct would be 'Up to 10,000 ounces' or any number within 100 ounces (or 1% of 10,000).

Who was the manufacturer of the Superintendent's Clock pictured in the 'Carson City Mint' gallery?

Answer: As per the image titles 'Clock Info', the manufacturer was 'Seth Thomas'.

Answer: 'A'. There is a very nice coin shop located almost directly across the street from the Old Mint in Carson City, less than a block away.

I took a second photograph of the Bullion Scales. Who is in that second photograph?

Answer: As per the photograph uploaded to the gallery, the person pictured in the other photograph of the Bullion Scales is my 86-year-old father, who enjoyed touring the Old Mint, as well as the Gun and Natural History sections of the Nevada State Museum.

I will address the tiebreaker question later today in the event of a tie, or tomorrow otherwise.
