I thought this looked like an old Russian coin, but it isn't in my book. The date is very hard to read. I'm thinking it's it says 1790 or 1890. I sure hope it doesn't say 1990 because somebody must have really ruined it to look old. The letters are hard to make out too. I've only started collecting coins and I can't identify some of them. Thanks for your help.

Thank you rsthellens. What book would I look in to find this coin. 1900s-Present, 1800s-1900s, 1700s-1800s, or very unlikely 1600s-1700s?

It is 1790's, Austrian. The legend HU BO, stands for Hungary and Bohemia, parts of then Austrian empire.

I really don't need an answer, but I was just curious if a coin in this state is worth anything? Maybe what grade it is?
