If there is some interest, maybe we could start a little fun weekly "game"... not just a 'guess the grade' but rather which coin is higher (guess the grades for extra credit) ;)
Not sure when I should post answers... 24 hours? 48 hours?

I'd prefer the one on the right .

Nice idea; I'll take a stab. I agree, the right one has better eye appeal. Left one is weakly struck in places (among other things). I'll guess the right one is AU58 and the left, 63, shot 64.

Both look like MS-64* that would be MS-66 without the obverse bagmarks. I have a hard time calling either MS-65, but they are very lustrous for peace dollars. Gems except for the unfortunate bagmarks in prime focal areas.

They kind of both remind me of Butterface women.

How about winner gets to post the next pair? BTW, are these your coins?

Trick question--they are both the same grade, or at least look like it. MS 64 is my guess for both.

I don't know grading that well but if I was to pick one I would pick the left one becauese of the toning. Knowing my luck, the right one would be polished.

I think the coin on the right is in a higher grade...but I prefer the left.

One on right is higher, my opinion.

Left is BU, right is AU.

At first glance they both look MS64 to me. Hard to tell from the small photos but there don't seem to be any significant marks on either coin but both have many luster grazes. Both look very lustrous as well. I am gonna say they graded the one on the left MS65.

    btw, 24 hours is ample.

Left 64, right 62 but I prefer the one on the right.

Looks like I preferred the one on the left, the higher grade one. I thought that one would be better. I didn't attempt to grade either.
