Franklin rpm or md?

    Is there also doubling on the letters above? It resembles md. If the letters have md, I would say it isn't an RPM.

    it has a 62 D d/d east rpm-003 listed, but i cant find any links to the die markers to confirm it.

    My opinion is MD. You can also see it on the letter directly above the mint mark.

    no other doubling anywhere on the coin. only the MM.[​IMG][​IMG]

    i see it now. the whole of united states of america is doubled as well. had to blow it up to see it.[​IMG]

    Seems like machine doubling. I may be mistaken, but I think it could be possible that when the MM was being punched in by hand, the ' MM stamp' slipped a bit on the way into the die and may have caused this, and there might be a name for this. Could be mistaken. No premium either way.
