I found this quarter while coin roll hunting. It appears to be double struck in some sort of way but maybe something else happened....

On the obverse in the 2 o'clock position, it is easy to make out an inverted "God" and "Trust". On the reverse in the 4 o'clock position, opposite of the mark on the obverse, there is some sort of markings, but I am not too sure what it is. My best guess is that it is the end letters and state out line from the words Virtues, Liberty, Independence.

My equipment is VERYYYYY basic. It is composed of my son's point and shoot basic camera, a loupe, and a 20x-40x magnifier. I have to contort my hands in very awkward positions to bring everything in focus, but it gets the job done. I feel that if MacGyver was in my same position, he could not do any better with the same resources!

Here are a few pics of what I have found.

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Jon

It looks like some kid was bored and put some quarters in a vice and squeeded them together. Notice the extra letters are backwards. Double-stamped coins from the mint would have the letters double-stamped in the same direction (in most cases). Yours looks like a damaged coin in my opinion. Sorry, but still worth 25 cents.

I'm in agreement with mecha1166. The lack of detail on the obverse is an indication of the squeezing process done outside of the mint.
