I've done some research but I'll be honest, coins aren't really my specialty. I have 3 coins and I only know a little about one of them, it's a Chinese coin (1 Cash) possibly from the Qing dynasty. I have no idea what these other two are. Thanks for any help.
1st coin... qian long reign (emperor goa zong) chinese 1 cash... minted the board of revenue, peking, between 1736-1795. value 25¢ to $1 2nd coin (copper-nickel)... taiwan 10 yuan, minted 1989... value 25¢ 3rd coin (bronze coin)... japan 10 yen... minted 1971... value... about 10¢ face, 25¢ in a dealers "junk" bin
Don't suppose anyone knows any more info about the cash coin? I don't know a whole lot about cat. codes but from what I can find it's listed as S-1464, the only problem is it seems a bunch of these coins have the same number but Hartell has more codes listed, what I can't figure out is what mine is but from what I can gather it's somewhere between H-22.208 Type D & 22.210 Type D. Any further help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, I just took a look on google and found a page from Cast Chinese Coins (wish I could've found this sooner) and you're right, it does look more like a 22.223. Thanks for the help.
