1995 Double Die Whats wrong with it?

Keep in mind that there were probably a lot of slabs under water during Katrina. Theres no way to know where the coin is from or what happened to it, but it has deteriorated to less than MS 60 IMO

Speaking of 1995 Double Dies - I found my third one tonight!!! I was taking a class in the "City" and I hit every bank I could for pennies- Went through $150 in pennies in 3 days and I was seriously bummed I didn't find but a mere 56 Wheats and a handful of BU pre 1982 to collect. I put ALL 1995 Ps in a pile, as I can't see the double die that well in fast light like I can others ... Well, when I went through the pile of 1995s low and behold there was a double die! The third one I've found in a year! It was only AU though. Now that I have 3, I think I am going to sell one. Sorry about that MS 68 getting rotted like that... That is truly a shame.

Naturally drops value. Myself I would just write it off as to late, seal the edges with plastic glue, put away for a rainy day.

 

I'd leave it as is. Not sure about where you live but around here I've never seen a 95DD go for more than about the $80 dollar range and that was only because someone trying to get repaid for the slabbing. If you send that in for slabbing, you'll end up paying almost as much as the coin is worth. Just way to many 95DD's are out there that have been found. It is sort of like the 31S Lincoln that just won't go up that much because so many people have them in great condition.
