He's a copycat. He got the idea from someone who was ticked at their local Government and paid their property taxes in pennies.

If you think misogynous leanings tacked onto neurotic psychological scaffolding deeply resentful of a father figure which has nothing to do with the articles topic, then I'd agree with you. But I can see how some people might relate to that and make sense of it
