    Hello - I think it is a O-110a

Mouth closed , stars drawn to rim , little or no milling , right sides of the T & I in line.

Have a good one - Bud

Oh yeah, & its in "Good" condition.

I'd say it's a solid G-8. Sorry, I don't have my attribution book but 110a sounds good to me :)

It looks like a g-6 to a vg-8 to me.

Looks like a strong VG-8 to me, according to coin world it would be worth $80.00, Although it looks like the rim has a ding in it. so the actual value may be a little less. I would say maybe $70.00 That is just my opinion.

This sounds like a good question to all : -- Problem coins with dings or small dents like this one, Based on the one in the Photo- how much do you think it would be worth based on the $80.00 value factoring in the ding. (boatofcar, this is just a discussion please use your best judgment and what you think is correct)

hmmm, it doesn't look like a 110a to me, the right leg of A1 on 110a is below the base of T2, which isn't the case for the coin in question. Give me a minute, I'm working on this one, but the 31's are hard to do from photos since many of them are so weakly struck and have such subtle pick up points.

With what appears to be the stripe being bent on the center line of stripe 1 . I may be leaning twords a 102 . I dont know- this one has got me searching.

What did you come up with CT ?

I came up with 102 as well. The Diagnostic is the filled in point on the right inside angle of the N of United. Here is the photo from Peterson:

The coin in this thread is much more worn, so the area looks completely filled in instead of showing the die line so well, but I'm comfortable calling it a 102.

P.S. obverse 1 (101 and 102 only) is the only obverse with the proper star 7 to headband alignment, so since the T-I alignment rules out 101 it must be a 102.

By the way, I'm gonna call this one a G4-G6 coin. This particular marriage is very common (R1) and it is known to be found with full dentils, so they (the dentils) are missing based as much on wear as on die deterioration, so i just can't go VG with it.

Thanks for your help! I only paid 54.31 for it, so I'm happy with it, regardless of grade. I appreciate your thoughts!
