Box of cents: 19, 41, 44, 44-D, 55, 55-D, 56-D plus a 2005 Canadian penny that is in really good condition. Not as many wheats as my first box of cents, but hey, the 1919 makes up for it

I'm in Grand Rapids, MI, too, and I'm on a six box skunk streak. Lot's of marked coins in every box. I'd say 20% of them are marked.

    Weekly results time:

    Quarters (54 rolls): Wash x1
    Dimes (5 boxes and 168 rolls): Roosie x12, Merc x1, 1997S Proof
Nickels (2 boxes and 129 rolls): War x5, Buff x1
    Pennies (66 rolls): Wheat x34
    Halves (2 boxes and $159 loose/CWR): 40% x2

Another bad week for halves (sorry for all the complaining) but I guess I didn't do more volume than normal, and I've got a few new sources in the works so I'm gonna try and stay positive. A few other random things of note: another RUST Kansas Quarter, and for the second week in a row I found a whole bunch of wheats in the same BWR. 2 rolls from the same bank had 8 in one roll and 5 in another, including a 1918 and 1929D.

Today I found my first marked dime (it was marked with the date 2-2 using a sharpie). It actually looks like the same handwriting as the person who writes the date on halves around here. I'm used to seeing marks on halves but.... really, marking dimes? Really wish I could meet the person who marks all these coins and... tell them what I think.

Anywho, it wasn't a terrible week, mostly because I pulled some extra volume Friday/Saturday in order to try and salvage it. Total silver found was 1.6417 ozt.

Sadly, my increased volume wasn't enough to reach 10 ounces for the month, and I came in just shy of April's record of 9.78 ounces... with about $4k more volume. Still, it's been a great month... speaking of which, where's the June results thread?

edit: oh yeah, foreign finds: 91c Canada, 5c Panama, 2c Euro, 30c Ecuador, 10ag Israel, 15p UK, 50p Colombia, 20p Singapore, $5 Mexico, 50p India, and 5c Bermuda.

4 bucks in halves- a bicentennial half

Do you know if TCF bank carries half dollars? Also, do you think that a bank will sell me a roll of half dollars and 5.00 in pennies if im between 10 and 12 years old, or does my dad have to buy them for me?(Cant give my age out online:D)Lastly, do I have to ask for customer wrapped rolls? Thanks!

The only reason a bank wouldn't let you buy change from them is if you don't have an account. If you don't have one already, you may want to start a savings account so you could get rolls by yourself. Also banks don't normally stock half dollars, just ask each time you go.

$3 pennies, $10 nickles, $10 dimes today, all skunk.

$350 quarters skunk, not even any ATB Ps I need. Enough Ds, if anyone wants to swap.

But I do have a box of rolls to check. I did some work for a guy doing a renovation on his dad's house. He inherited the place. Getting rid of junk, etc. I accepted the box of rolls, $325 worth. It was in the garage, maybe......

    And the streak finally ends....

I was out of town for the latter part of the week, so didn't get any halves, but picked up a box of nickels and dimes this morning.

AFTER 9 SKUNK DIME BOXES IN A ROW......today's box was my best ever, 4 silver Roosies. I've had 3 in a box a couple of times, but never more than that.

    64D
    57D
    52

Man, that was a brutal streak....glad it is over.

TCF Banks around here having coin counting machines (and they're my dump bank). But, they've ordered boxes of halves for me. You won't be able to get many halves from them otherwise, because most of the change brought in goes in the counting machines. This is in southeast of Michigan.
