Hmm, 50 cents or half dollar? The coins from Cyprus and Malta that you showed here are nice pieces with interesting designs, but they are half-pound or half-lira coins. Anyway, if the dollar is not a requirement, here is a 50c coin from South Africa ... Christian
Here's two more. Same place different names. British Honduras - 50 Cents - 1954 - CN Belize - 50 Cents - 1980 - CN
Wow, I'm primarily a US coin collector and had no idea that so many countries used "cents". Thanks for sharing, I learned something today.
Siberian Man, Sir. Do Centavos/Centimes count as 50 cents too? If so, I'd like to see some more of your coins. You always have a nice rich variety to share.
Keep in mind that "cent" simply refers to the Latin "centum" (hundred), so there are lots of currencies indeed that use the name, in the sense of "one hundredth of the main currency unit". And if we include variations such as centavo or centime, we get even more. Christian
Here's a cool one you might want to add. Less than $10 too which seems pretty cheap to me. The 1912 crown of the issue being much sought after. Anyway, great color and it doesn't look like its been cleaned. But it does fail the "cents" requirement. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NICARAGUA-50-CENTAVOS-1939-EXTRA-FINE-C-N-COIN-/280862130291
