While I do that with rolls, opening them, sticking everything back in, replacing anything I take out, I get rid of them at some stores where the cashiers know me. So I don't think they were mine.

I haven't had to do any replacing lately, another $200 skunk quarters.

bought a box of nickels, a box of pennies, and $30 in halves

skunk for the halves. I've only looked through three rolls of the nickels. I havent started the pennies yet. I thought it was odd when I was unpacking the nickel box and I saw a reeded coin in the plastic wrap amongst the nickels. It was a 1987 USSR 20 Kopek coin.

I'll post details of my other picks when I get done with them...

    About $4 loose halves: Nothing
$3 loose Ikes: Decent condition, but nothing
$290 CWR dimes: Three silver Roosies, two Canadian, a penny, and a 1989 Singapore 5 cents. When I saw the edge of the Singapore coin I got all excited thinking about Darchangel's find, but it wasn't to be...

Agreed. I bought a couple hundred in CWR dimes couple weeks ago and made $2.10 just by recounting them. Found a two roosies to boot. That quarter roll is ridiculous.

I was in Grand Rapids, Michigan yesterday. Scored 1 40% from $11.00 in loose halves at a fifth third bank. My first silver in halves in a long time. You guys in the east are lucky. The Chicago area and Michigan in general don't yield too much. Dry...dry...dry

You must either be unlucky or on the wrong side of Michigan. I do just fine over on this side of Michigan. It is only dry until you hit a big score and go on a great run again. If it was so easy none of us would have jobs. lol

6 40%ers from my 4th box of the week today... box three yesterday had 2 40%'ers... that means none of my 4 boxes on the week was a skunk, awesome!

Went on a roadtrip yesterday and hit the better part of 30 banks looking for halves. No one really had much on hand, but we found a 63 Franklin, 64 Kennedy, 67 Kennedy, and an 85 Proof.

    All-in-all a had a fun day.

3x boxes of dimes, 2 roosies, both in the last box. Not happy with dimes lately.

2x box of nicks, 1905 Vnick, '25-S ($8 Numismedia value in VG8, fills a hole in the dansco) and '36 Buffs, and 2 wars.

Went on one of my weekly road trips again this week, looking for halves. I even opened a new account at a small regional chain, and hit up about 30 or so banks total. Got $104 in halves... all skunk, of course. Every bank I went to was like "you're the 3rd person to ask today/this week" or "someone was just here this week and cleaned us out". Between all the competition and the fact that nearly all the tellers seem to know about silver, north Jersey is perpetually skunky.

The good news is that now I've got 2 new bank chains ordering me halves for 2 weeks from now, but I'm not expecting much. I'm gonna still try and stick with 3-4 boxes of halves per week until I get too discouraged to keep up the higher volume.

Since today was the last day of the month I did pick up a TON of other denomination rolls - about $630 worth from various banks - so we'll see if I can get my silver total up before the end of today. Honestly aside from halves I've actually had a pretty good month, although I doubt I'll hit 10 ounces like I was hoping :(

Weekly results to come... when I finish opening all these rolls lol
