I have semi dateless: 1920 d, 1923 s, 1923 s, 1925 s, and a 1925 buffalo nickels. Only the last two digits are visible on all of them but the 1925. Should I use vinegar on them or leave them? What are they worth? Thanks. Also I have a dateless buffalo nickel with part of a mintmark on the back. How should i use vinegar on it? Thanks.

ONLY use vinegar or nic a date on totally dateless buffalos. A partial date that you can identify the year on is much more valuable than a "restored date" coin.

For the totally dateless coin, you can use vinegar.

Agreed - leave the ones with the year alone. Now the dateless one it would probably not hurt too much.

This is absolutely true. If you can identify the date of the coin, don't mess with it. It will only hurt the value.
