Close am, wide am, or nothing?

I have a 1994-D penny and I was wondering if it might be an error coin? The a and the m in AMERICA are close together but are slightly distanced from the e and the r. I can't take a pic because I do not have my camera with me at the moment so i can only describe it. It kind of looks like this but the space is a little less dramatic AM ERICA. Like I said the space is actually less dramatic than that so I am not sure if it is anything. Also, I know in1992 they slightly altered the design, so is the close am the standard design for 1994? Sorry if I am blabbering nonsense, but I would just like to know so that I don't end up accidentally something worth more than 1 cent. Thanks.:smile

Actually, a wide AM will look like this A MERICA.

Unless you work for Romney, then it looks like this: A MERCIA.

I'll try to take pictures when I can but it may be a few days until I can... Like I said, I'm not sure it's anything but you never know.
