Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Welp. Here's my try at G's white colored background without reflection. The thing with the reflection for me is that I can write over it so I don't have to squint to see what year/mm it is.

Be warned, these are some pretty crude Stincolns. Sure they are original UNC, but the spotting totally sucks on these.

But for now these two will reside in the Whitman Album to be my eye candy.

And I got this one for the same folder:

When I got it in march at a coin show, I was looking for UNC. Album fillers but didn't realize what I got was that ugly on the back. I bought it because of the color but found the damage when I imaged it today. Stinks. Guess it'll have to do until I get a new one.

Oh yeah Cazka...When ones imaging get's better, sometimes the coins get worse lol. Meaning, you will see things you didn't see before. :)

Also, your images really look good. My only suggestion is to add a small drop shadow around the coins. This is especially useful for silver, clad, or steel colors. Helps to define the edge and really makes the coin pop. I started doing this when I saw tru-views do that when the background is white.

edit: Do you think that is in fact damage on the reverse? Not something that happened when it was struck?

    Looks a lot like a die crack--sure it isn't??

Mind if I take a stab at the grade?

I bet PCGS gave it a 45. The coin is too sharp and too free-of-abrasions for a 40, IMO.

Nice one, Ruben! Definitely a P.Q. piece! :thumb:

I don't know how to do drop shadow on photoscape  But it is a mysterious coin for me. I am not too sure if it is damage or not. I'll have to go into further examination of it.

Love the 1806 Half Cent Tex. That must have cost you a pretty penny.

Gorgeous coin in hand with beautfiul luster and cartwheel. I think it's really close to MS65, and is at least semi PL. What do you think?

    Thanks,

I would think that (if cross-graded) it would get at least a */+, and possibly a PL status. Nice coin!

Here's another lustrous IH that came in the mail. It has speckled wood-like blue toning:

    Alternate view showing the luster:

However, after reading Lehigh's post on the "Post a Toned Coin" thread about how most blue toning on copper is a result of some MS70 cleaner, I'm kind of sad now :(.

Finally gave up on trying to find a WAM on my own:

Came across this Masonic Stamp coin while roll searching earlier today:
