Yea the second box was one of the best we ever hunted through! Tons of copper and Wheats/Kings. Here are some pictures from the hunt
Seeing you call king george cents "Kings" got me thinking... Just out of curiosity, what kinda of nicknames do canadians use for their coins? Like in america we say Wheats for Wheat Cents, or Buffalos for Buffalo Nickels, etc. Do you call the appropriate nickels and pennies just "12-siders"? Or bluenoses/boats for the current dime? I have some of my coin tubes labeled "young eliz" and "1967 commem" but I am really curious as to the real vernacular.
Sorry, I'm an American, so silly question. In Canada can you still get boxes of cents from banks? Also, do they still circulate frequently? I know they stopped minting them.
I'm curious to know what other nickel roll hunters do with their 99.9% Nickle nickels. Not that I've got a ton of them but I would like to stay somewhat liquid and wouldn't mind moving a bit from time to time. I do see some listings on ebay by the pound and I was thinking of listing a roll (40 coins) for $3-3.25 and list is as a bin auction so people could buy as many as they wanted to combine shipping. Would this be a good way or does anyone know of anything better.
