Thanks Speedy. From what it sounds like it's not the place for me to do my shopping. Still would like to hear from anyone that has done business with them. Doesn't really sound that much different than ebay. Don't really shop too much there either. To many horror stories. Everybody wants a quick buck.
I've never bought anything through their auction site but I've tracked some of the coins they sold and from what I've seen all of them are way overpriced.
I tried this a little while back, but most of the prices on these auctions go way over what they should go.
No way. That site starts with a misleading name to entice naive potential buyers who think they will be bidding on property forcibly taken by governmental agences, foreclosing lenders, etc. In fact, that type of think represents a very small percentage of the total listings, as they basically admit in the fine print that no one reads. Because of the large number of inexperienced bidders, there is a huge "auction fever" component, in which people lose track of value and get caught up in the excitement of auction bidding. Every lot I considered bidding on in the first couple of their auctions I knew about ultimately went for at least 2.5 times my value estimate. Be careful, be very careful, when looking at their auctions.
I have been involved in severalof their auctions. Never one one, like ti was said above, they are high priced. It is def not the place for discounts
Thanks all for your input. Guess I don't have to bookmark it. They have it dressed up pretty nice. Yeah that auction fever makes it hard to get anything at a good price. I value everyones opinion here. Majority rules. I won't waste my time with it. Thanks all
there were a few that in the begining were really selling seized property but now most seam to be using just the idea of recovered goods, or are supplied by pawn shops. www.propertyroom.com is another if anyone is intrested
Always be carefull of auctions. We have so many of these so called seized property auctions, going out of buisness auctions, foreclosure autions, estate auctions and on and on and on. I've gone to a few over the years and as already noted on this forum most are well overpriced and are intended for the unknowing that gets cought up in the frenzie. I went to a gun auction one time and everything was going for at least double the real value.

Yeah I know some of that stuff gets stupid. Thats why I don't win too much. I set my limit and thats it.
