ebay. Sellers do themselves such a disservice when they don't put up better pics. Here is the seller image: Also, it was $25. My bad.
I've also been hunting toned Lincolns lately. I thought of WingedLiberty when I saw them. Although, not proofs. This is my most recent favorite:
Nice Tyler. I LOVE twenty cent pieces. I also adjusted your image. I like to do that sometimes, even though no one asks.
You're a crack up man! I'm really digging that Walker. I enjoy it when I buy a coin with bad photos that I know is toned. Taking a gamble, sometimes you win, other times...you don't post about it and no one has to know
1935-D Lincoln Cent. I bought this MS65BN off ebay last month. Sometimes these old crusty brown mint state coins can show some cool color.
Is it at least protected by plastic of some sort? It IS old, but it ain't no ancient, so it might need some protection.
More new half cents. Really surprising how worn the obverses are and how nice the reverses are but if you can find them and the price is right, well I'm just not going to be as picky as I'd like to be. The reverse on the 1806 is a weak strike at the top right and is common for the era.
You dont have the 10th edition of the pattern book? I got mine about a year ago on ebay for $7 shipped BIN. Nearly new shape too.
