My field is ancient coins, so I have no idea about these silver dollars. Can anyone enlighten me ? Are they worth anything ???

Any information would be much appreciated.

How did you come across them? Need pics of the coins out of the holder.

They all appear to be Chinese replicas. I suppose they could be silver, but I'm sure they're just a base metal.
The big tip off is the large Washington quarter with the lot there.

I agree, run a magnet over the coins, if they stick, they're fake

That was my thought as well. If they're base metal, they're not worth anything.

I hope you didn't pay much for them.

    I suspect these are fakes.

First off look at the one with the Walking Liberty design on the obverse. The date is 1900. That design was not released on the half dollar until 1916, and the reverse did not have "1 oz. fine silver" along the bottom rim. That is; however, found on the ASEs from 1986 - present.

The one with the design of the Washington quarter both sides, and a date 1865. That design was released in 1932, and there is no significance between Washington and 1865, that I've found and that one says ONE DOLLAR on the reverse.

The 1921 Morgan; too much of a gap between the wreath and the lettering around the bottom rim on the reverse for it to be real.

Heh, I didn't look at those dates very closely. That's funny. I thought the Washington "dollar" said 1965.
I guess some are a cross between replicas and fantasy pieces.

Thanks a lot gentlemen. I'll follow your advice. BTW I didn't pay anything for them. Thought I'd ask the experts first...

Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

They are most likely Chinese copies. Without better pictures, it is hard to be sure, but they look pretty crudely made.
