Post a coin depicting the sun - Summer solstice today in the Northern Hemisphere.

I've always assumed that these beautiful liberty cap coins of Mexico depict the Sun's rays.

This 1912 Nicaragua 1 cordoba is a one year type coin. It is roughly the size of a US silver dollar.

Problem free examples and uncirculated cordoba coins are very difficult to find.
