How do I get a job with NGC/PCGS

    It IS glamorous. I used to use the old "I'm a coin grader" line back in my single days and I had to beat the babes off with a stick.

    Being a coin grader for one of the big TPGs isn't a job I'd want.
    I imagine it's demanding and tedious grading modern bullion and other modern issues, which make up the majority of submissions.
    I daresay them glamorous coins (like a 1907 UHR Double Eagle) go to the most senior graders :)
    Sitting at a desk for 7 or 8 hours, straining my eyes and trying to discern PR70 Zincolns from PR69 is my idea of he double L*.
    OTOH, if you are good enough to be a grader for a major TPG, a year or two of experience could serve you well if you decided to be a coin dealer.

    Good luck Son I hope you get the job, That one guy's post nailed it when he said get used to Grading ASE'S all day, but hey if you think you would enjoy that go for it.
