What do you folks think? Would any of these get the CAM or DCAM designation? I really do not know much about what the criteria is for giving the designation.

The obverse looks cam to me for sure, but I am not so sure about the reverse. A cam for this proof would be 10x's the value. I don't think I am that lucky.

    Thanks for looking.

I'd have to say no on all of them.

Just so you'll know, you'll have a much, much, better chance of finding the '66 and '67 in cameo than you will the '65. The '65s are all but impossible to find in cameo.

edit - I will add that pics can be quite deceiving when it comes to cameo. And for many it is hard to get a pic to show cameo. So there may be some chance your '66 would make it. If I could see the coin in hand I could tell in a second.

Thanks Doug. I was assuming that would be the answer. I also thought maybe it would be difficult to determine from images.

Nice pumpkin. I was thinking I should do something like this to better show them. Thanks for the vids.

Well you can always use the trick made for taking cameo pics. That may give us an answer.

Get yourself a sheet of plain white paper. Roll into a tube and tape it to hold it in a tube shape. Make it as big around as you can but 3 inches will work. Set up your camera, place your coin, the put the tube of paper over top the coin. Turn on your lights. Take the pic of the coin with the camera looking through the tube at the coin.

You might have to play with your camera angle a little bit. Even changing the angle 1 or 2 degrees can make the difference. But if the coins are cameo, that method will show it. Or not.

+1. Even from the OP pics, the 1966 Kennedy looks like it has a shot at CAM, IMHO. nice contrast on the obverse, and the reverse really stands out.

The nickel is somehwhat borderline to CAM, but I'm going to have to say no as well...MAYBE it has a shot at the +/* designation.

In either case, those are some mighty fine proofs you have! :) There looks to be rainbow toning on the '66 proof!
