Welp, the 3 boxes of halves I picked up yesterday were 2 skunks and I got one 40% from the last roll... bummer. I've got 2 more boxes to pick up today so hopefully things turn around.

Also skunked on my 2nd box of dimes for the week, but then my 3rd box had 6 roosies in it. I'm already at around 1.5oz for the week so I'm hoping I have a little bit of luck for Fri/Sat so I can try to get over 2 ounces!

 

Just got a call from a friendly teller today... a customer dropped off $12 in silver half dollars and they're holding them for me. Woohoo!

 

Let us know if they actually are silver haha!

 

2 boxes of dimes and 2 boxes of nickels last night yielded 2 roosies, 3 buffs (1 dateless) and a war.

 

I'm pretty sure they will be - "you said you wanted anything before 1970 right?" Hopefully there's some 90%'ers in there too, but I don't want to be greedy and get my hopes up...

A few months ago this teller held 39 40%'ers and 2 90%'ers for me. I owe her some donuts!

 

1 box of dimes yesterday gave me 2 64 roosies 1 was an ender

 

Box of halves had a Franklin, 2 1964's, and three 40%'ers. Solid.

 

Score! A solid roll of 64's and four bonus 40%'ers!

I noticed that the 64's were in a paper roll hand labeled "silver" in the vault manager's handwriting, so she at least knows about silver. The 40%'ers were loose and I only got them because I specifically asked - I don't think they know about them. Even if someone starts to keep the 90%'ers (hopefully not!) I should still be able to score the 40%'ers.

I'll post a few pics tonight after I get done with the $500 dime bag from the same branch.

Box of halves, 4 40%ers. Given my luck lately, I'll TAKE IT!.

 

If I averaged 4 40%ers per case right now I would not complain one bit. In fact I would be smiling too!

 

Yeah ditto. Got five boxes this week (my 2nd week increasing from 2 boxes per week)... And ended up with 4 skunks and 1 40%, lol

I know it's part of the game, especially around here where there's do much competition, but it's getting kinda tiresome... Well really, it's just discouraging to up your volume and have even WORSE luck

Luckily I'm still having decent luck with dimes and nickels, so I'm already above my average of 1.8 ozt per week and I keep track of my weekly results until Saturday, so there's still tomorrow!

 

Made a quick trip to the bank today and while I was there I picked up $2 of pennies.
It must of been a good batch of them because I found 2 wheaties. A 1950-S and a 1944. Also found a 1964-D in great shape.

 

2 boxes of halves earlier in the week were both skunks.

4 boxes today, 2 skunks, and 1 had a 40%er, the other had a 90%er.

 

3 more boxes of halves, 3 skunks.

5 boxes of dimes, 3 roosies.

 

forgot that box of halves the other day - probably because it was a skunk.

My second box of dimes for the day gave me 2 x Roosie
Both boxes I got today gave me silver!
