Maybe it started out in it's life as a proof and it was taken out of the holder and used. It is defiantly circulated. Proof is more a method of manufacture than a condition. I wouldn’t pay any kind of premium for it. That is for sure. Condition is maybe a 40 or so.

Looks to me like it may have even been cleaned at one time or another, to me it looks as if it has a funny looking finish on it.
I Concur. Not a proof. Its a business strike that has been wheeled out, Look around the rim on the reverse. Nice bullion piece for a necklace.
at any rate it is a problem coin and not worth $150.00. i don't trust scans enough to uncover all of a coin's secrets.
