I recently recieved the note at the bank. its a very nice serial number.... 00717171* I have never came across a Repeater star note before, so i was wondering what the value would be and if its worth keeping. It has a small center fold but nothing major. Also someone has writen "999" on the back... other than that this note is pretty nice. I will be able to post pictures in a hour or so. Tell me what you think!

technically it is not a repeater. a repeater would be 71717171 or 00710071

I agree. Not a true repeater, or a short run star. As far as value, not much, if any, above face value in its condition and because of the writing on back of note. If you like it, then keep it.....personally I would not.

I generally keep all star notes I find unless there is a major issue detracting from them. In this case, I going to have to say if you like it, keep it. Otherwise, it could be a spender.

I keep all stars, but more so with an interesting S/N like that. It's all up to you.
