Does anyone else ever change their mind on what they collect? For a few years I was a "old us coin collector" collecting things like 2 cent pieces, 3 cent nickels, etc. Then I went through a modern phase, collecting proof sets, mint sets, etc. Lately I went through a franklin half phase, but I sold them all. Now I am collecting old copper coins from various parts of the world. Has anyone else changed what they collected?
I'd say a lot of us here have changed what we've collected a time or two. When I started out I was just buying anything that I could afford. Since then I've gone from Gold Indian Quarter Eagles to Morgan Dollars to French Sowers, which is what I collect now.
