The 30 day "Buy it Now" option on Ebay with a "make an offer" gives you so much time on your listing that depending on what you are selling you have decent chance of being the only one available. You may have to wait 20 -30 days but you can really get top dollar.
A tip for buying a "buy it now", wait until the last day just in case the seller puts his price lower.
