I have searched through my pennies at least 5 times. Where can I get some new rolls? I have checked ebay, but havnt found anything cheap enough. I dont want anything new, just old circulated pennies.
The cheapest place would be the bank. They cost face value and you can get boxes and boxes of them. Also, if you ever see rolls for sale on ebay labeled as "Unsearched shotgun roll"... That means it is a searched shotgun roll.

No. You will get rolls of all mixed. It's not uncommon to find wheats, and even possibly indian heads. Here is a huge thread dedicated to roll searching finds: http://www.cointalk.com/t10176/
Sometimes, but even still, you can sell those rolls. I've found plenty of wheats, and I've heard of people finding Indians.
Ya, cheapest you can get penny rolls is 50 cents. If you can get them cheaper then you're doing great, if you pay more then you are doing poorly. You ever notice how many of those unsearched rolls have VDB wheat reverses, civil war tokens, and/or 1916 Merc obverses showing? It's amazing, I mean, what are the chances?
The last cent roll I saw had a 3 cent piece on the end. It was funny for sure. The small 3 center was pushed up in the end of the roll. Hilarious.
Yep the indian heads are still out there in very small numbers. I've found 5 of them so far out of 78 $25 boxes.
