Went into my lcs today looking for Franklins and Jeffersons. Not too much to choose from. So I bought what I thought was the best example of a wartime, or prior, Jefferson and the two best Frankies IMO that they had. The jefferson I am 99% sure is FS and The Franklins I'm 50/50 on about FBL, I'm hoping they are.

Here are some scans...I am not able to take good pictures so scans are the best I can do. Even getting these images took me at least half an hour.
Unfortunately the one somewhat decent image I could get of the 54-D reverse is too large of a file size to upload.

What are your thoughts on the reverse of the Jefferson? From the pictures can you tell if it would be FS or not?

Can you get a clearer shot on the steps?

Nice coins. love the Jeff! I will say, I am not so sure about the steps on the nickel. A clearer image would be necessary.
Blowing up your current image, it only looks like 4 steps.

Well with that picture, assuming those aren't scratches on the left, I think it could get 5FS

Possibly. I'm on the "glass half empty" side until we see a better image. :)
