Does anyone have a list of key dates or errors for lincon memorial cents? This would greatly help all penny searchers in knowing what to look at! This would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Sam

Aside from the 1970-S small date, there are no real key dates. There are a few interesting errors, the 1972 and the 1995 double dies are my favorites.

Actually, there's a ton of "keys" and varieties. I suggest you join LCR to learn more. Errors cannot be categorized by year, most are "one offs" and happen at the mint by mistake.

Technically, by mintage, the 1968-S is the "key" of the series. However, many of them were hoarded in mint state, so they are plentiful. The most valuable in any grade are probably the 72 doubled die obverse 001 and the 1999 WAM (Wide AM).
