I found a quater that is dated 1883 with a copper middle and was wondering about it. Anyone know anything anout them???
You must mean 1983. All Washington quarters since 1965 have copper middles, except the silver proof examples, it's called clad.
I'm guessing if might be worn funny or somehow appear to be a 1883, when it actually is a 1983 (or some other date between 1965 and 2000).
