I bought this Indian Head a little while ago. I was wondering what everyone thought the actual value of the coin would be. I paid $28.00 for it. The XF Bid is $185.00 and the VF Bid is $110.00. Thanks!
That coin is pretty rough. Sometimes it is hard to put a price on a problem coin like this and you never know what will happen on ebay. To me the coin would probably be between $20-$40 - then again I would not bid on it. Just my personal opinion.
actual (meaning non-problematic) XF or the possible value of your specific coin? If it's the latter, I would say around $30-50. The coin has a deep black tone that isn't too unattractive, but unless it has some luster I don't think it would appeal to too many buyers since it's hard to see the details and devices (even though they are strong!). Just IMHO. Nice snag though for $28!
