Have they all been slabbed?

Has at least one of every US coin, every type, every year, every mint location made by the US mint been graded by either PCGS or NGC?

Good question - I dunno. But if there are any missing I don't think it would be many.

I do not think either service list grading a authentic 1964 Peace dollar and records show they were minted and supposedly all melted. But the subject of them being out there comes up every few years.

I'm pretty sure the 1870-S $3 on display in the Bass Collection at the ANA Money Museum is not slabbed. If it is in fact not slabbed that would be an example of a date & mintmark that has not been slabbed. (That coin is unique.) I'll check it out next time I go by there and report back.

I would think that they had, absent coins like 1849 double eagle, and possibly type 2 1804 dollars, things like that.
